It has been a Delilah-tastic October in the press. I shan't bore you with all of it, but I just wanted to give a special mention to three magazines which have particularly lovely features...
I finally managed to get hold of a copy of CrossStitcher in town (issue 271) and it made me smile so much when I opened it. They have made the loveliest feature with a long interview and an excerpt from my book, including the chart to my pretty Stargazer Tote project. And if that wasn't enough their subscriber offer this month is a free copy of Storyland Cross Stitch! That officially makes it my favourite issue ever. (Please excuse the dreadful photos - I haven't been able to get hold of any proper images).
I have received a quite a few enquiries about the Arrow cushion they featured - it is a new design I finished a while ago but I haven't had the chance to actually turn it into a pattern for the shop yet. I am hoping to have it ready in the next week or two though so will let you know as soon as it's done.
You can also find a really nice feature (above) in this month's Sew magazine (issue 53). Which reminds me that I really must try and make time to get on with some sewing of my own... my Elisalex dress pattern is currently sitting on top of my sewing machine, waiting patiently for my attention along with a bazillion other projects on my must-make list.
And if you turn to page 10 of this month's Crafty Magazine (issue 7) you can win one of my bag kits. I have a bit of a soft spot for Crafty since they ran the most wonderful blog tour for the launch of my book, and in this month's issue there is a super-cute knitted bow neckerchief/scarf type thing by Emily Greene Blue that I am sorely tempted to make. It will have to join the queue... Knitting is my current obsession; I must show you what I've been making. Later this week maybe.
