I have just added this Little Rabbit pattern to the shop. It is a smaller version of my old Florence pattern, which, although lovely in its own right, just had so many solid stitches that even I got bored stitching it. A few of you have asked me where Florence went, so I wanted to replace her with something that didn't take quite so long to complete. This one will still take you a while (about as long as the Cassia Cameo), but I think it is pretty enough to be worth the effort.
The other little rabbit you can spy in the picture is a present I made for my niece's first birthday. She's called Pearl. Isn't she darling?
I made her from this wonderful pattern. It comes with clothes patterns too, but at 1am the on night before the birthday party she still didn't have an outfit, so rather than dive into something new, I whipped up this little apron dress from a practice doily-type-thing I had made a few days earlier (I can finally crochet - whoop! The pattern was from this book) and some minty coloured felt. Look how sassy she turned out!
The apron dress also shows off her pom-pom tail to perfection, a last-minute whim which became my favourite bit of all. She will get more clothes eventually (proper ones, not just my random inventions), and after the tail is inevitably pulled off by an over-zealous toddler she might even be able to fit her bottom into them...

The bunny cross stitch looks great. I love the colour of the thread against the fabric!

The bunny is so adorable, especially the tying of the apron. I want one!

Oh goodness, what a charmer! And so glad to have found the Posie patterns! Adore her little lace-up dress.
