I almost never get time to exhibit anywhere these days, but in September I am making an exception for Thread Festival! The venue (Farnham Maltings) totally won me over when I visited Unravel earlier in the year, and I am excited to go back as an exhibitor at Thread.
I will be displaying original samples from both of my books, and selling kits and other pretty handmade things that I am making exclusively for the event. Plus I will be celebrating the launch of Stitch the Halls! with a little signing at 2pm on the Saturday afternoon, so I would love the chance to meet some of you there. My brilliant Mum will be helping me out on the stand so come and say hello!
Farnham itself is pretty far away from me (though I suppose that, living in Norfolk, this can be said about most places), but there is something really special about the Maltings that makes it worth the trip. It is made up of a labyrinth of different rooms, which gives it a very intimate feel, and when I went before there was such a buzz in the air. Plus the organisers really have their finger on the pulse when it comes to curating events - exhibitors this time include Ray Stitch, Craig Fellows, Selvedge Magazine and Nancy Nicholson, plus talks from Tilly Walnes and workshops from Gather, among many others. See the full line-up here.
If that sort of thing floats your boat, and you are free on Friday 26th and/or Saturday 27th September, then I have some free tickets to give away! To be in with a chance of winning a pair, just leave a comment below and I will pick out names on Monday 8th September.
Good luck!

What a fabulous line-up. Absolutely worth travelling to catch - especially if there's Delilah goodness on show too!
